Terms of Service

Last updated: May 12, 2026

1. Agreement

By accessing themasterlee.com (the "Website") or purchasing any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Website or purchase any service.

Master Lee Consulting operates as an independent service provider under the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. In these Terms, Master Lee Consulting may also be referred to as the "Practice."

2. Nature of Services

The Practice provides strategic guidance services rooted in classical Chinese analytical traditions. These services are cultural, educational, and strategic in nature.

The services are not medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, psychological counseling, therapy, or any licensed professional service. Nothing on the Website or in any report should be interpreted as such.

The Practice provides analytical frameworks for strategic decision-making. All guidance is offered as strategic perspective and suggestion only. No specific outcome, result, or benefit is guaranteed or implied.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase any service. By making a purchase, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

4. Right to Refuse Service

The Practice reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or discontinue service to any customer at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion. This includes:

  • Abusive, threatening, or disrespectful communication
  • False or misleading information on an intake form
  • Requests outside the scope of the services offered
  • Repeated chargebacks or payment disputes
  • Cases where the Practice believes the service is not a good fit for the customer's expectations

If service is refused before work begins, a full refund will be issued. If work is already in progress, the Practice may issue a partial or full refund at its sole discretion.

5. Purchase and Payment

All prices are listed in US Dollars. Payment is collected in full at the time of purchase through the payment methods available at checkout.

By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided, that you have read and agree to the refund policy, and that you will contact the Practice to resolve any concern before initiating a payment dispute.

Prices may change at any time without prior notice. Price changes do not affect orders already placed and paid for.

6. Intake Form and Service Delivery

After purchase, you will receive a secure intake form. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information. The quality and relevance of your deliverable depends on the information you provide.

Each service produces a digital document containing strategic analysis based on the information provided. Format, length, language, and content may vary based on service scope and case complexity.

Estimated delivery timelines are approximate and are not guaranteed commitments. Actual delivery may vary due to current volume, complexity, illness, technical issues, or high demand. Electronic delivery confirmation, including email delivery, constitutes proof of delivery.

7. Refund Policy

  • Before intake form submission: you may request a full refund by contacting us directly.
  • After intake form submission: once your intake form has been submitted, the custom analysis begins and refunds are no longer available.
  • Declined commissions: if the Practice determines that your inquiry falls outside the scope of its services, the commission will be declined and a full refund issued.

No partial refunds, credits, or exchanges are offered under circumstances not explicitly described above.

For customers in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, consumer withdrawal rights may apply before digital content preparation begins. By submitting your intake form, you request that preparation begin and acknowledge that the withdrawal right may be lost once work starts.

8. Satisfaction and Disputes

If you believe your deliverable does not reflect the information you provided, contact us within 7 days of delivery. The Practice may, at its sole discretion, provide clarification or supplemental analysis.

Before initiating any formal dispute, chargeback, or legal action, you agree to contact the Practice in writing and allow 30 days for informal resolution.

9. No Guarantee of Results

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • The services do not guarantee any specific outcome, result, or change in circumstances
  • Any decisions you make based on the guidance provided are made at your own risk and responsibility
  • Past results described in testimonials or elsewhere on the Website are individual experiences and do not guarantee similar outcomes
  • The Practice assumes no responsibility for actions taken or not taken as a result of any deliverable or guidance

10. Confidentiality and Data Retention

All personal information and inquiry details you provide are treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to provide the service.

The Practice retains intake data, transaction records, communications, and delivery records for up to 24 months for dispute resolution and quality assurance purposes. After this period, data may be deleted.

The Practice may use anonymized, non-identifiable information for internal purposes, quality improvement, educational content, testimonials, or case studies. For details, see the Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, methodologies, frameworks, branding, and materials on the Website are the intellectual property of the Practice.

Deliverables are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, publish, or publicly display any deliverable or its contents without prior written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of the Practice for any claim arising from or related to these services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

The Practice shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, opportunities, or emotional distress.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Practice from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your misuse of any deliverable, your violation of these Terms, or any third-party claim related to actions you took based on the guidance provided.

14. Testimonials and Client Stories

Testimonials displayed on the Website reflect individual experiences and opinions. They may be edited for length or clarity and do not constitute guarantees, promises, or representations of expected results.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute shall first be subject to the informal resolution process described above. If informal resolution fails after 30 days, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted online via written submissions in English, in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The seat of arbitration shall be Ohio.

You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

16. Modifications

The Practice reserves the right to modify these Terms. Material changes will be posted at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Website or services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
